It's no secret that 2020 and 2021 have been full of let downs. Truth be told, this idea was stemmed by the feelings of disappointment, confusion and sadness our youth has been experiencing. But it is not our moments of adversity that defines us; it is our response to them that does. We knew we needed to be the leaders for change.

A change to our routine.

A change to our outlook.

A change to bring back the feelings of inclusion and camaraderie.

 

We as a community have an obligation....an AWESOME obligation to give our youth the opportunity to enhance the world around them and give them a platform to express their talents and truths.

 

The students at Stage Right explored many ideas on how to raise funds and save their theater group from collapsing. They knew we needed something bigger and better than anything we've tackled before, while still staying true to their own mission, vision and values.

Alas; the North Texas Film Festival was born. Circa 2021.

Proceeds from this event will go to help in continuing the building of non-profit groups including and not limited to Stage Right.

 

This is an event that is created by students, run by students (partially), FOR students. We cannot wait to have you a part of this first ever annual festival!
